Seller and Scope
Shinuda supplies and supports the Shinuda software. Paid Premium access is provided through Patreon memberships, and Patreon processes membership payments, applicable taxes, receipts, cancellations, and refund requests under its terms and tools.
This policy explains how a Patreon membership affects Shinuda access. Patreon's applicable terms, platform rules, and any mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.
Canceling a Subscription
Open membership management from Shinuda's Premium settings, then cancel the active membership in Patreon. Disconnecting Patreon from Shinuda does not itself cancel an active membership.
Cancellation and a refund are different. Patreon explains when cancellation stops future billing and how long membership access remains available for the applicable billing model.
Refund Eligibility
Patreon's general policy is not to provide refunds, but Patreon may grant exceptions at its discretion and provides a refund-request flow in the member's Billing history. Purchases completed through another platform may need to be handled by that platform.
For a Shinuda technical issue, contact help@shinuda.cc so we can investigate. Patreon decides and processes membership payment refunds under its current rules. Mandatory rights are not affected.
EU, EEA, Swiss, and UK Consumers
Consumers in the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom may have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from some digital content and service contracts, including the first payment under a subscription. This right may no longer apply after digital delivery or use begins where the buyer expressly consented to immediate performance and acknowledged the resulting loss of the withdrawal right.
Local mandatory consumer law always applies. Subsequent subscription renewals do not automatically create a new withdrawal period except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Patreon Refund Requests
- Open your Billing history in Patreon and use the available refund-request action for the relevant payment.
- If Patreon directs you to another platform for the purchase, follow that platform's refund process.
- For a product issue, contact help@shinuda.cc with the account email and a description of the problem. Never send full card details or passwords.
Patreon's current instructions are available at https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021113811-How-to-request-a-refund.
Processing an Approved Refund
Patreon determines eligibility and processes approved membership refunds. Bank, payment-network, or platform posting times may apply after Patreon processes a refund.
When Patreon reports that paid membership access has ended, Shinuda removes the related Patreon entitlement. The account and local data are not deleted; the household returns to its otherwise available tier.
Access After Membership Changes
Shinuda derives Patreon-funded Premium access from the membership status reported by Patreon. Free limits, local playback, and any independent manually granted entitlement remain available when Patreon-funded access ends.
If the entitlement does not match the membership status shown by Patreon, refresh Premium status in Shinuda and contact help@shinuda.cc if the mismatch continues.
Changing a Patreon Membership
Use Patreon's membership tools to select or change an available membership tier. Patreon shows the applicable price, currency, taxes, and billing schedule.
After Patreon confirms a membership change, refresh Premium status in Shinuda so the corresponding eligible access level can be applied.
Purchases Through Other Platforms
If a Patreon purchase was completed through an app store or another platform, cancellation and refund handling may be subject to that platform's process. Follow the instructions shown by Patreon for the specific transaction. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Payment Disputes
If you believe a membership charge is wrong or unauthorized, use Patreon's support and Billing history tools or the platform identified for the transaction. This does not limit any lawful right to dispute a charge.
If a payment dispute changes the membership status reported by Patreon, Shinuda updates the related Premium entitlement to match that status.
Contact and Updates
Questions about Shinuda access or a technical defect can be sent to help@shinuda.cc. Questions about a Patreon payment, receipt, cancellation, or refund should be submitted through Patreon's support tools.
We may update this policy as the service, provider, or legal requirements change. The version applicable to a transaction is subject to Patreon's terms, any platform terms, and mandatory law.
