Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of Shinuda, including the app, accounts, sync, plugin store, publisher tools, downloads, and server-hosted features.

Operator and Contact

The service operator is Shinuda. Legal and abuse contact: help@shinuda.cc.

Eligibility and Acceptance

By creating an account, downloading, or using Shinuda, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must have the legal capacity required where you live. If applicable law allows a minor to use the service only with a parent or guardian, that person must review and accept these Terms and supervise the account.

What Shinuda Provides

Shinuda is media-player software and a plugin platform. It does not itself sell, license, host, supply, or stream movies, series, television channels, or other third-party media as part of a Shinuda plan. Server-hosted features execute compatible plugin operations and do not grant rights to any media.

External plugins and sources may help a user find or access third-party services. Availability in Shinuda does not mean that Shinuda owns, endorses, or licenses that material. You may access content only when you have the rights or permission required by applicable law and the content provider's terms.

Account and Security

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, securing your account, devices, private keys, and secrets, and activity performed through your account except where applicable law provides otherwise. You should report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

Paid Plans, Billing, and Renewals

Shinuda offers Free, Home, and Pro access levels. Paid access is provided through a Patreon membership. Current published prices and included limits are available at https://shinuda.cc/pricing/; Patreon shows the final billing currency, taxes, and renewal details before confirmation.

Patreon processes and manages memberships, payments, receipts, cancellations, and refund requests under Patreon's applicable terms and tools.

You can open Patreon membership management from Shinuda's Premium settings. Cancel the active membership in Patreon; disconnecting Patreon from Shinuda does not itself cancel an active membership. See https://shinuda.cc/refund-policy/ for details.

A paid plan purchases access to Shinuda software features and published server-hosted allowances. It does not purchase any movie, television channel, media subscription, IPTV service, or third-party content licence. Usage allowances apply to the account or household shown in the product and may reset at the start of each billing period.

When Patreon reports that paid membership access has ended, Shinuda updates the related Premium entitlement and the household returns to its otherwise available tier, subject to mandatory law.

Acceptable Use

You may use Shinuda only lawfully, under these Terms, and under technical documentation. You must not use the service to infringe third-party rights, bypass security, attack infrastructure, distribute malware, steal data, evade limits, interfere with service operation, or publish content without required rights.

Plugins, Publishers, and Piracy

Shinuda is not a place to host pirated plugins, license bypasses, cracks, DRM circumvention tools, or content that infringes copyright or other third-party rights. If you install a plugin outside the official store, add your own source, configure an external provider, or run unapproved code, you do so at your own responsibility. Such plugins, sources, content, and effects are not hosted, authorized, or controlled by Shinuda unless explicitly published in the official store.

Plugin publishers must own or have all required rights, must not hide malicious behavior, violate user privacy, or make false claims. We may reject, remove, suspend, or revoke access to a plugin, publisher, or account if we reasonably suspect legal, safety, security, or Terms violations.

A signature, listing, or review in the official store is not a guarantee that a third-party plugin or its content is lawful, continuously available, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose. Rights holders and users may report suspected infringement or abuse to help@shinuda.cc; we may preserve evidence, restrict access, and cooperate with lawful requests.

Licence and Intellectual Property

Subject to these Terms, Shinuda grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to install and use the app for lawful purposes. This does not transfer ownership of Shinuda names, logos, interface assets, documentation, services, or other protected materials.

Open-source components remain governed by their respective licences. You may not remove notices, impersonate Shinuda, misuse its marks, scrape protected services, or copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit parts of the service except where an applicable open-source licence or mandatory law expressly permits it.

Data and Encryption

You keep rights to your data. You grant Shinuda a limited right to technically process data as needed to provide the service. Private content and secrets are designed to be client-encrypted or sent as encrypted bundles that the operator should not be able to read. Losing keys, devices, or secrets may make data unrecoverable.

Third-Party Services

App stores, operating-system vendors, payment providers, plugin publishers, content services, download hosts, and linked websites operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Shinuda cannot control their availability, pricing, content, security, or decisions. Where their terms conflict with mandatory consumer law, that law remains applicable.

Availability

The service may be developed, limited, suspended, or modified for legal, security, technical, or operational reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or fit-for-every-purpose operation.

We may change features and technical limits as the service evolves. If a change materially reduces a paid service during an already paid period, we will provide any notice, continued access, cancellation option, refund, or other remedy required by applicable law.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Shinuda is provided "as is". The operator is not responsible for damage caused by illegal plugins, sideloading, external sources, user configuration, lost keys, third-party actions, or violations by users or publishers. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by mandatory law.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account where the feature is available. Account deletion is permanent and may remove access to encrypted data, settings, plugins, and active entitlements. Cancel a recurring subscription separately before deleting the account unless the applicable provider flow confirms that deletion also cancels it.

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access to an account, plugin, or feature where needed for security, legal compliance, user protection, infrastructure protection, non-payment, or Terms enforcement. Where appropriate and legally required, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and update date are published on this page. Material changes will receive any advance notice or consent required by law. If you do not accept a change, you may stop using Shinuda and cancel any recurring subscription before the change takes effect.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Polish law, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections available under the law of the consumer's country of residence. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact help@shinuda.cc so we can try to resolve the issue. Consumers may use the courts, authorities, and alternative dispute mechanisms available under mandatory law.

General

If part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver. Provisions that by their nature should continue after account closure, including intellectual-property, payment, liability, dispute, and enforcement provisions, remain effective to the permitted extent.
